The RP-archery Online Team ;
On the 28th of February and the 1st of march, Republic Archery IG participated in NTU's Archery Open Championship..
Here are the highlights:
Day One Results
Tan Yi Jing Achieved 2nd Place in the Women's Recurve Novice Category
Elwin Wijaya Achieved 3rd Place in Men's Recurve Novice Category
Minnie Teo Achieved 3rd Place in Women's Recurve Open Category
Day Two was the most exciting day and here's why
In the Women's Recurve Novice I-KO Rounds Yi Jing perservered against all odds and acheived 3rd place, winning a bronze medal!!!
Over in the Men's Recurve Novice Category I-KO Rounds, it was a tough battle and eventually Elwin and Nigel faced off in the finals for Bronze.. Elwin won but a stronger team spirit was forged from the fires of battle!!!
In the Women's Recurve Open Category, Minnie fought with everything she got and brought back a Silver!!!
Congratulations on our 3 Winners!! WOOT WOOT!!!
Thats it for the individual rounds.. ONTO TO THE TEAMS!!!
Against all odds, trashing everything that stood in their way, every school from SMU to the famous NP, nothing could stop our underdogs from bringing back the Gold!!!

One more event that has to be had and that's the Mixed Team Event
We sent our two best archers, Yi Jing and Elwin and they were totally on form.. In the first round, out of a perfect score of 16, they got 14,trashing TP by a whopping 8 points.
Unfortunately, due to weather, the event was called off and they were awarded 3rd place based on the original score that they had.. Congratulations =)
And great work everyone who went there. and congratz to those who are won =)
In Summary, We brought back 1 Gold,1 Silver and 3 Bronze =) Not bad eh?
