There has been some startling discoveries about the Archery Club of Republic Poly. Rumors from undisclosed witnesses have been spreading. Here are some "classified" photos excavated from "Deleted Files"
Here we have pictures of the current President of the Club soliciting with a junior. Is there more depth to this? Is the junior being forced? Are the feelings mutual? More on this, as we get more reports
Here we have two juniors. Their names will not be disclosed due to privacy issues. Are they together? Is it a form of practical joke? This may be what you're thinking at the moment but we have more compromising evidence of a budding "forbidden" relationship between these two
as you can see, their relationship goes far beyond that of normal friends. You may be wondering,"What if all these are just candid, nothing more then to amuse the general public?" We assure you, there is more than meets the eye. There you have it. Go Figure Here is another one. Too close for comfort? Or are they enjoying it? We may never know Another compromising photo. Raging Hormones in Public? Or just a weird sort of fetish? Ask them yourself =)

Okay PS all for taking so long to update.. A little busy with the photos.. so here they are (First time doing this so forgive mistakes ya?)
During the NTU Open, Wee Boon decided to pop by and give his opinion on the "most important" part of competition. Team Photos!! And so thanks to Wee Boon.. Here's the results plus his comments =P

Today we had a friendly competition with Ngee Ann Polytechnic(hereafter will be dubbed NP) Congrats to Bjorn and Simon who faced off and won Gold and Silver respectively..although no medals were given(duh it's a friendly) and onto the funny parts!!
SpiderMan?? Farhan was sliding down the railing and got banged when he reached the bottom..Sad soul Never learn your lesson do you Farhan?(notice Nigel's evil smile) Tsk tsk.. Boys.. no vulgar language please.. but it was funny =) all in all we all had fun so PEACE OUT everyone =) and what in the world is Simon doing??!!

There have been a commotion regarding the content of the tagboard.
But don't fraid, we are looking into the matter and as of now will NOT delete the contents as we are investigating the evidence.
To the person who decide to mask yourself behind another person's name and spam nonsense, i am not asking you to own up. Just put yourself in either one of their shoes and reflect on yourself.
The rest of you remember to chill and relax. Rmb that RP archery is a family and we need each other support no matter what the circumstances it.

First off.. Happy Birthday!!! We all know it's early but better than nothing ya? so anyways.. after a tiring day at training.. we all headed to Ajisen Ramen Restaurant for dinner!! And once again witness 2 idiots worhsipping the birthday boy.. -.-||| after filling our tummies and resting.. nigel, yi jing and zhi mei.. became very.. and i mean very.. insane.. they crafted a dish.. looks like this: cant really remember wad they added.. knew it was something with wasebi,beef skin, chilli powder, spicy miso soup and soy sauce.. i dun even want to know how it tastes like.. YUCK!! Elwin seems to "like" it though.. hmm Elwin!! spare us the mouth watering details =) so after all that.. no one felt like heading home.. so off to TimeZone it is..
Air hockey!!! blame max for bringing this upon us!! stupid iphone haha and of course.. wads going to the arcade without a little DDR!!!

Today.. Something slightly different happened.. apparently we were short on target paper.. and so.. this is wad happened.. this is at 30 metres.. note the lone balloon on the 50 metre board.. in the background.. FUN SHOOTING ENSURED!!! however.. 4 archers(minnie,simon,elwin,nigel).. loaded with 6 arrows each..which means a total of 24 arrows
Couldnt even burst that one balloon!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR GOLD MEDAL TEAM??? OUR SILVER MEDALIST??? OUR MVP???

On the 28th of February and the 1st of march, Republic Archery IG participated in NTU's Archery Open Championship.. Here are the highlights: Day One Results Tan Yi Jing Achieved 2nd Place in the Women's Recurve Novice Category Elwin Wijaya Achieved 3rd Place in Men's Recurve Novice Category Minnie Teo Achieved 3rd Place in Women's Recurve Open Category
Day Two was the most exciting day and here's why In the Women's Recurve Novice I-KO Rounds Yi Jing perservered against all odds and acheived 3rd place, winning a bronze medal!!!
Over in the Men's Recurve Novice Category I-KO Rounds, it was a tough battle and eventually Elwin and Nigel faced off in the finals for Bronze.. Elwin won but a stronger team spirit was forged from the fires of battle!!!
In the Women's Recurve Open Category, Minnie fought with everything she got and brought back a Silver!!!
Congratulations on our 3 Winners!! WOOT WOOT!!!
Thats it for the individual rounds.. ONTO TO THE TEAMS!!!
Against all odds, trashing everything that stood in their way, every school from SMU to the famous NP, nothing could stop our underdogs from bringing back the Gold!!! Congratz to them =)
One more event that has to be had and that's the Mixed Team Event We sent our two best archers, Yi Jing and Elwin and they were totally on form.. In the first round, out of a perfect score of 16, they got 14,trashing TP by a whopping 8 points. Unfortunately, due to weather, the event was called off and they were awarded 3rd place based on the original score that they had.. Congratulations =)
And great work everyone who went there. and congratz to those who are won =)
In Summary, We brought back 1 Gold,1 Silver and 3 Bronze =) Not bad eh?
